The filter keeps dirt off the evaporator coils and duct work. An efficient filter is determined by how much dirt it will hold. When the filter reaches capacity, the dirt will unload or pass through the filter and be caught in the coil. When the coil plugs, the air can not get through fast enough and it can cause a freeze up.

The belt is critical to air flow. A worn or damaged belt in the system causes it to run longer and work harder to satisfy the thermostat. What could have been solved through a simple service call can quickly escalate into larger, more costly problems and disruptions in the daily operation of your business.
